"Creation" series
Like a single human cell containing the information about the development of a complex and unique being, the seed of a tree is predestined to mature into a one of a kind living organism. The paintings of "Creation" series are the large-scale densely layered surfaces with sometimes elaborate texture and the sprays and scattered specks of paint that reflect the sacred moment of artistic inspiration preceding the process of creation. The artistic process mimics the essential creation of the world and life as we know it, as an endless evolutionary cycle. In this work I interpret the universal beauty of creation and the relationship between natural configurations and their conventional adaptations.
